FAQ

Frequently asked.

What's the difference between subscription and lifetime?

Subscription. All features and updates while subscribed. Cancel anytime. After 12 consecutive months of payments, your subscription converts to a perpetual license for the last version released during that period. Cancel after a year and you keep a working DBCode forever; you just stop getting new updates.

Lifetime. Pay once. Every update, every new feature, every new database we add, forever. AI and sharing stay active with no expiry.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. No credit card needed. Try every feature before deciding.

Can I switch plans later?

Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades are prorated for the remainder of your billing period.

How does the Team plan work?

The base price covers 10 users. Add more at $9 / year per user. Each member gets all Pro features plus the team-only collaboration features. Add or remove members any time, and assign roles to control feature access.

Do I need GitHub Copilot for AI features?

Schema-aware chat and Copilot tools require GitHub Copilot. Inline code completion and Model Context Protocol are included in Pro and Team without additional cost.
