Changed

  • Editor: Execute shows the run as Connecting straight away, and an unreachable server reports its error once instead of retrying.
  • Oracle: Added a Connect As option (SYSDBA, SYSOPER, SYSBACKUP, SYSDG, SYSKM) for administrative logins such as SYS.
  • Connections: Added AWS IAM authentication for Amazon RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB through AWS auth profiles.
  • Connections: Re-authenticate runs az login for Azure CLI auth profiles.
  • Results: Result tabs show the file that ran them, and switching editors selects that file’s latest result.

Fixed

  • Auth Profiles: AWS profiles with temporary credentials, such as from aws-azure-login, now pick up refreshed credentials without reconnecting.
  • Results: Fixed the panel sometimes showing no tab after running a query.
  • CLI: --app and editor auto-detection find Antigravity IDE’s connections.
  • Editor: Fixed CodeLens icons sitting flush against their labels.
  • Editor: Fixed a failed connection showing “message must be set” instead of its error.
  • Editor: Fixed Execute doing nothing until a window reload after a connection went stale.
  • AI: Inline completions no longer use Copilot, so they don’t consume Copilot premium requests.
  • MCP: describe-table now finds views, external tables and system tables. #1258
  • AI: Antigravity, Kiro and Windsurf agents keep their DBCode connection after DBCode updates.
  • openGauss: Fixed expanding a schema failing with “column s.synlink does not exist”.
  • PostgreSQL: Fixed backup failing with “server version mismatch” when the installed pg_dump is older than the server (macOS and Windows).
  • QuestDB: Fixed Drop and Truncate table failing with “unexpected token [.]”.
  • Redshift: Fixed IAM authentication with AWS auth profiles failing with “Auth profile did not return a password”. #1256
  • Redshift: Fixed IAM authentication on Redshift Serverless workgroups.
  • Backup/Restore: Fixed MySQL and SQLite restores failing when a database name or file path contains spaces or shell characters.
  • MySQL: Fixed table details failing on ShardingSphere with “SQL federation does not support”.
  • Snowflake: Fixed queries failing with “Unknown role” when a Security Role is set.
  • TiDB: Fixed Explain and Analyze failing with “explain format ‘json’ is not supported now”.
  • Results: Fixed the cell tooltip covering the right-click menu.
